Established in 2024, the Sekhukhune Women's Summit & Community Awards was founded by Fihla Joey Maroga a former beauty queen, businesswoman, and community builder born and raised in Rathoke Village, Sekhukhune Region, Limpopo. Inspired by a vision to celebrate, empower, inspire, and develop women and girls, the platform recognises those making meaningful contributions in their communities, businesses, professions, and society.
